What can I see from the Prince Henry Cliff Walk?

Spend some time walking through the Blue Mountains, a scenic national park in New South Wales. About an hour’s drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains has natural views of rock formations, waterfalls, and rainforests.

The Prince Henry Cliff Walk is one of the popular Blue Mountains scenic walks and is a relatively easy three to four-hour walk. There are over 20 lookout points where you can take in the scenic views of the national park.

The walk is only one way, and you can start from either Echo Point or Gordon Falls.

The Three Sisters

The Three Sisters are easily one of the most popular highlights you’ll see on the walk and in the Blue Mountains. You’ll come across the Three Sisters from Echo Point at the beginning or the end of the walk.

Jamison Valley

From many different lookout points along the Prince Henry Cliff Walk, you will overlook Jamison Valley. As part of the Coxs River system, Jamison Valley is a structure of valleys and canyons.
Jamison Valley is a mix of cliffs and a eucalyptus forest, where there have been some sightings of koalas.

Katoomba Falls

One of the most popular Blue Mountains waterfalls, Katoomba Falls, is a picturesque waterfall in Katoomba. On the walk, you’ll come by Katoomba Falls Lookout to see this magnificent waterfall, along with the smaller Witches Leap Falls!

Leura Cascades

Leura Cascades is a set of waterfalls by Leura Falls Creek, each being as stunning as the other. There is also a nice grassy area that is perfect for picnics or a spot to have a break on your walk.

Mount Solitary

There are a couple of times during the walk you can look out to see scenic views of Mount Solitary. The 950-metre-tall mountain sits out in the Blue Mountains Range and you can do a multi-day hike over Mount Solitary.

Gordon Falls

You’ll come across Gordon Falls at the start or end of the walk, depending on which end you decide to start. Gordon Falls is another stunning waterfall with valley views, a picnic area, and a playground.
