How to get to Wentworth Falls

Wentworth Falls is just outside the busy Sydney city, just over an hour’s drive away. Alternatively, you can catch the train, which takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes from Central Station on the Blue Mountains line.

  • Wentworth Falls

Wentworth Falls is a stunning 3-tiered waterfall from which the town itself got its name! The waterfall is 187 metres in height and is fed by Jamison Creek. You can view the waterfall along the Wentworth Falls track, which takes about an hour to complete from the picnic area. The steep walk includes a stop at Fletchers Lookout, which offers views across Jamison Valley

  • Lincoln’s Rock

Lincoln’s Rock is one of the Blue Mountains’ most impressive lookouts. The views from the lookout change colours throughout the day with the sun’s movement, making it a popular spot for visitors.

Empress Falls is one of the smaller waterfalls in the Blue Mountains, standing 37 metres tall. The waterfall cascades over multiple tiers and bushland surrounds it. It is the perfect summer swimming hole, with crystal-clear waters to cool off. You will encounter Empress Falls if you walk the Valley of the Waters walking track.

The Falls Gallery is housed in a charming cottage surrounded by a beautifully landscaped garden. Open from Wednesday to Sunday, the Gallery features ever-changing exhibits of paper, ceramics, pottery, paintings, and etchings.
