The Jenolan Caves are without a doubt one of the most spectacular attractions in the Blue Mountains.

Inside the Jenolan Caves

This absolutely epic series of limestone caves are not only Australia’s most popular, but are also one of the most incredible cave systems in the whole world!

A tour through the Jenolan Caves is like stepping back millions of years into existence, with untouched, fossilised stone formations dotting the entire system to create something absolutely surreal.

Tours of the Jenolan Caves run at regular intervals throughout the day but spaces are limited, making booking mandatory for those who want to experience its otherworldly structures.

The Jenolan Caves are sure to inspire the senses as part of your epic Blue Mountains adventure, just as these incredible experiences will, too…

The Three Sisters

The starring attraction of the Blue Mountains may not be as expansive as the Jenolan Caves or as wild as Katoomba Falls but it certainly is the most mystifying. The Three Sisters, an incredible series of sandstone formations leaping out of the mountains below, has always held a special place in Australian travel history, thanks in part to the wonderful Dreaming story that accompanies any visit to the marvellous landmark.

Hike your way up to Echo Point to experience these beautiful rock formations in all their glory, not forgetting to learn the fascinating lore surrounding them before you go…

Katoomba Falls

Katoomba Falls, one of Australia’s favourite walls, is truly epic. It’s a wondrous sight to see, with its tiered cascade gushing down the lush cliff face and into the valley below. What makes Katoomba Falls even more inviting is the fact you can camp just down from where the falls meet the bottom, allowing you prime access to this incredible part of the mountains.

Scenic World

For a thrilling time, be sure to head to Scenic World, home to some of Australia’s most nail biting, albeit exhilarating, rides. Try, for example, the Scenic Skyway: a cableway situated a cheeky 270m off the forest floor complete with a cheeky glass bottom to really raise your hair.

It’s also home to the world’s steepest passenger railway in the legendary Scenic Railway, a super fun ride that takes you through the mountains and into the valley deep below… it’s a truly adrenaline-pumping day out that also doubles as one of the best ways to experience the sheer natural beauty of the Blue Mountains.
