2 Day Blue Mountains, Hunter Valley and Port Stephens Tour Itinerary

Explore everything Sydney’s surrounding scenery has to offer on this two-day adventure that takes you into the beautiful Blue Mountains, the sprawling countryside of the Hunter Valley, and the pretty sea views of Port Stephens. Along the way, you’ll get to stop off at the major attractions and spot local wildlife against breath-taking backdrops of mountains and ocean.

Day One

To kick things off, we head straight to Port Stephens. We leave Sydney and make our way over the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Darling Harbour, from which you can marvel at the beauty of the Sydney Opera House against the skyline. At Port Stephens, you have a choice of activities. You can either go sandboarding down the ancient sand dunes that characterise the coastline, take a dolphin-spotting cruise out at sea, or simply kick back and relax in the shallows at Nelson Bay.

Afterwards, we’ll continue you on the Hunter Valley, one of the most famous wine regions on the planet. While in the area, you can try out some of the locally-made vodka, schnapps, and liqueurs, and treat your sweet tooth at a secret location overlooking the folds of the Valley’s landscape.

When night time comes around, we’ll take you to your accommodation in the heart of the Valley. You’ll have the chance to tuck into a delicious meal at Potters Brewhouse before bed.

Day Two (B)

We start early on the second day, straight after breakfast. We’ll head straight to the Blue Mountains, driving through the incredible expanse of the Great Dividing Range on the way. Spot kangaroos and other native wildlife from the windows as we take the less crowded back roads and stop at lookouts the day tours don’t visit. We stop for morning tea in the quaint town of Putty before we arrive at the Blue Mountains. Here you can discover the ancient rock formations that span back thousands of years, like the impressive Three Sisters and Wentworth Falls, which overlook the lush Jamison Valley below.

Afterwards, you can walk amongst the towering trees in the rainforest before we take you back to Sydney where the tour comes to a close.
